Beautifully manicured lawns, wild tropical foliage, and glorious coastal views, all await you at Bolt House. A vibrant flower garden and soothing lily pond flank the east side of the house; a yoga deck on the west side is perfectly positioned under the shade of a tree looking out to a magnificent view of the ocean. The terrace, in the shade of the almond trees, allows for casual dining during the day and a romantic dinner setting amidst the flicker of candles and torches, at night.
With it's rich and almost mythical heritage, dating back to the '50s and '60's, Bolt House has played a significant role in the social life of the island, hosting such luminaries as Charlie Chaplin and the Queen Mother of England.
The property came alive during the era of Ian Fleming, thespian and author of the James Bond novels; Noel Coward, famed artist; and at the centre of Bolt House's history, Blanche Blackwell daughter of Alexandre Lindo.
Several decades later Blanche's son, Christopher Blackwell bought the GoldenEye property, which is still a close neighbor to the Bolt House. In 2000 Blanche Blackwell sold the Bolt House to it's current owner who has totally refurbished the 5000 square foot villa ncluding all new bathrooms, infinity pool, new furnishing and electronics.
Augmenting this secluded five-bedroom private home, is a one-bedroom cottage at GoldenEye, Spanish Elm with an exterior kitchenette, a front terrace overlooking the lagoon, secluded access to it below and a new private deck right on the water. All Bolt House's bookings include Spanish Elm access to the lagoon and beach which offers a full complement of water activities.
The bedroom at Spanish Elm is air conditioned and has a private bathroom. The cottage also has a TV and telephone. Bolt House guests can use Spanish Elm as a sixth bedroom or use it to relax during the day after a tantalizing day on the beach.
Guests also have full access to the GoldenEye beach as well as all the water sporting activities they offer. Please note that all motorized water sports incur a separate charge, payable directly to Golden Eye.

The Main House - 3 bedrooms in the main house are large and airy:
Master Bedroom, with king size bed, a large bay window with a breathtaking sea view, air-conditioning, a walk-in closet and an en suite bathroom. Bedroom 2, has a view of the ocean, a king size bed, a walk-in closet, air-conditioning and a newly renovated bathroom. Bedroom 3, has a view of the garden, two full size beds, a walk-in closet, air-conditioning and a newly renovated bathroom.
The Annex - 2 bedrooms that are smaller, rustic & very cozy: Bedroom 4, has a queen size bed, air-conditioning, has its own bathroom and opens out to the TV room. Bedroom 5, has two full size beds, a ceiling fan, a bathroom attached and opens out to the TV room.

Bolt House is an exclusive property with full-time staff including personal chef, butlers, maid service, gardeners and security guards, who are attentive to all guests' expectations and personal needs, while ensuring privacy.
Veronica, your personal chef is well known for her delicous combinations of Jamaican and European cuisine. She pays particular attention to cooking only with the freshest of ingredients, most of which are harvested daily on the Bolt House property. Here you will experience exquisite and delectable appetizers, savory entrees, decadent yet health conscious desserts, and a menu loaded with delicacies to suit every palate. We will also accommodate visitors who have unique dietary requirements.
Meals may be served in the formal dining room or al fresco on the terrace by our friendly and well-trained butlers, Errol and Norris.
There is a US$100/day charge for adults and US$50 for youth for 3 gourmet meals per day and unlimited beer/wine, soft drinks, fruits and snacks.
